An injury can change your life. It’s a traumatic experience that leaves you afraid, in physical pain and can cause extreme financial hardship.
The Law Office of Thomas Grier stands up for victims and families. We know all too well the difficulties you will encounter after an injury, and the challenges you will face as you pursue an insurance claim.
You need to take care of yourself and focus on healing after an injury. You shouldn’t have to worry about paying your medical bills, or that you won’t get the compensation you need and deserve from the insurance company to cover your lost wages and other damages.
We know how to negotiate fair settlements with insurance companies and how to fight for clients’ rights in court when necessary.
We will only take your case if we think we can help. We work on contingency, which means we will fight to recover the largest possible amount of damages in your case and we only get a fee when we win for you.
Insurance companies are responsible to their shareholders, not you. Their primary obligation is to generate profits – something they can’t accomplish if they make generous settlement offers to accident victims.
In most cases, you won’t even be a client of the insurance company making you an offer, and the company will have no reason at all to show you any generosity or fairness other than to avoid a lawsuit.
If you were injured, you should not have to suffer the financial consequences on top of the physical and emotional damages. The civil justice system exists to protect your rights, and The Law Office of Thomas Grier chose to specialize in personal injury law because they’re passionate about defending the rights of Arizona victims.
It’s much harder to negotiate fair terms with your insurance company if you are dealing with them by yourself. Contact The Law Office of Thomas Grier as early in the process as possible. We offer a free consultation that will help you understand your rights and options without obligating you to work with us any further.
Following an accident, there are some important things you must do.The Law Office of Thomas Grier will greatly increase your chances of receiving maximum damages.
Collect the names, addresses, and phone numbers of the other parties involved, anyone you spoke to at the scene, or any witnesses of the accident. Have these contacts organized so you can share them with your Arizona accident lawyer. Using your camera or cell phone, take photographs of the scene and damage to all vehicles involved.
If you didn’t collect the contact information of anyone at the scene, you can find this information in the traffic accident report available at your local police station or The Law Office of Thomas Grier will help you obtain this report.
Even if you don’t think you’re hurt, sometimes injuries take time to present themselves. We recommend that all of our clients visit a doctor on the same day of the accident – but at least the following day, regardless of the severity. Be sure to take notes about how you feel after the accident, what the doctor says, and how you are recovering. Also, let the doctor know of every pain you feel. Do not ‘hide’ these symptoms from your doctor, no matter how slight.
If your insurance company or the insurance company of the other party contacts you, do not sign anything without talking to our office first. Signing paperwork from an insurance company may mean you are signing away your rights to compensation.
